He Makes His Ministers Like a FLAME OF FIRE

Psalm 104:4 says that “He makes his ministers like a flame of fire”.
When I was first given the title “Fired Up Phil ~ The Minister of Success” I had no clue about this verse. It’s actually talking about his angels and is explained more in Hebrews 1 but God laid it upon my heart. He said you are anointed with fire to minister success.
Not only are God’s angels ministering spirits but his followers are called to be too. This does not just mean pastors and preachers, etc. You are called as well. If that’s so, then what the heck is a minister? Good question…many people totally misunderstand its meaning.
The word “minister” comes from the word “laos” (people) and “ergon” (work). It means “working for people”. In the Greek it’s the word (diakonia) referring to “serviceable labor”. A minister is someone who serves and assists people. It is God’s will for everyone to do that. The closer you get to him the more he will reveal where he wants you to minister (serve).
Even Jesus came to serve which he demonstrated over and over again. The bible says “Finding a way to serve the many leads to greatness”. Once you discover what your talents are and what you’re passionate about, then you find a way to serve the many using it…and life gets good. ..Doing what you love while serving others, sounds pretty fired up.
Here’s the cool part…could you imagine if everyone lived with the heart of “giving” like a minister. Yeah the world would be a MUCH better place. Instead of selfishness, people focused on serving! And don’t worry of course you could still receive also that’s still part of the equation,…there’s nothing wrong with that. In order for someone to give there has to be a receiver as well. You reap from fruit of your service.
Unfortunately though, many people are poor at this which leads to lack and struggle. This will doom you to poverty until you change. Don’t worry, I’m preaching to myself here too. Most people including me were not raised with a prosperity consciousness, it has to be learned and requires reprogramming. This is a whole other topic for another day. So the reason for this post was to give you the opportunity to get know me better and see a bit more clearly where my heart is coming from. On that note let me leave you with one last thing about me. Who I serve is more important to me than what I serve. I laid my life down a while ago. Now I’m all about my (heavenly) fathers business.
